Our most popular station is the Media 100, where you can
create digital media using your VHS tapes or mini DV tapes.
Once your material is digitized you can edit the video and
audio and add titles, text and special effects. For distribution,
you then have the ability to burn your media to a CD, DVD
or back out to a VHS tape. Depending on your file size,
the lab staff can assist you in producing professional quality
movies in a matter of hours
FinalCut

Another video editing system is our
Final Cut Pro 3 station. Final Cut Pro 3 is a Mac application
that enables you to work in a range of editing formats from
DV to SD and HD. This station is set up on an Apple G4 800MHz
dual processor with 2x60GB drives, 512MB of memory, combined
with FCP 3, which allows you to render and preview transitions
and effects in real time. A Matrox card has been installed
for professional editing, as well as a Shuttle Pro, an Apple
22" Cinema Display and a 17" Flat Panel Display.
Also available is a SanCube 250GB External drive, used for
large video file storage.
