ACAC
The Academic Computing Advisory Committee provides a forum for discussion of student and faculty computing needs at ASU. ACAC is also a gateway to a host of resources for research, instruction, and outreach.

Contact Improvisation
An interactive CD ROM will be developed to introduce adult audiences, both dancers and non-dancers, to Contact Improvisation, the art of moving with one or more partners while maintaing a shifting point of contact. 

Exercise Science 
Ms. Stillwell is researching the feedback that coaches give athletes. The intent of this research is to analyze the coaching behaviors, the effects on the athletes, and then provide follow-up instruction to the coaches to improve their coaching techniques.

Evolutionary Dwellings 
The Evolutionary Dwellings Project, funded by Institute for Studies in the Arts, seeks to digitize architectural visualization.

Education 
James Luna, a resident Native American Artist at ASU during the spring of 1997 led a multimedia project, Our Indians. Involving the ASU Native American community.

Internet Travel
Mieke Caris, a professor from the University of Twente, The Netherlands, developed a website to document her visit to the United States to study instructional design.

Development of Preschoolers'
Thinking Awareness

This study explores variations in preschoolers' understanding of different aspects of mental activity.

Concerto
Led by Professor Thomas Bacon, a consortium of ten organizations has commissioned a new musical composition from major composer, David Maslanka.

Education 
The first accredited college course on CD-ROM, Instructional Media and Design, was developed at ASU. This award-winning disk is currently being revised by Dr. Gloria Wilson. 

Solid State Science 
Under a grant from the National Science Foundation, ASU has created the first undergraduate course in Scanning Probe Microscopy (SPM) in the nation. Portions of that course are being transferred to CD-ROM.

Solid State Science 
This project is a Virtual Laboratory for the Remote Control of Ion Beam Analysis. It will greatly expand the capabilities for classes.

The Ol Onana Project 
The goal of the Ol Onana project is to facilitate the design and construction of a resource center for the displaced and dispersing Maasai in Western Kenya.

Art
Joe Bensen is exploring methods for digital display of student projects and portfolios, integrating photographic techniques with authoring technologies.

Exercise Science 
Kathy Jones, a researcher in the Exercise Science department, is currently researching the effects of different instructional methods on weight loss and comprehension of instructional material.
